Our new home....

We are finally moved into our "new to us" house. This last week has definitely been a rough one for me. While I am happy about our move, I am also a tad bit sad. As I stated in my previous post, the house we left was the one where we brought Tyler home from the hospital and where both of our children have spent the majority of their lives. I knew it was going to be hard, but goodness I didn't realize how hard it was going to be. So on my last morning of waking up at the "old house" (as my nephews call it) I was very teary and admit I cried more that day than I have cried in a long while. My husband was very supportive and understanding of all this crying that I was doing, (by the way have I ever told you all how much I love that man of mine?). Well I made it through that day and each day since then.

Once we got moved in, our living room looked like this for several days.

We had to wait for several days for our furniture to be delivered (we opted for getting new living room furniture as our other set we had for almost 15 years and needless to say, after two kids and that many years it had seen better days).  So this is what our living room looks like now with our furniture.

  2. I am so behind, Tania. I totally missed that you were moving. It must be tough to leave a house that you have lived in for so long, but how fun that you get to decorate a new house. I'm with Amee, I see a clean slate with loads of potential!
